kids got talent (Porter Sanford Theatre)
"Kids Got Talent" is a remarkable initiative that has provided invaluable support to various organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club, Cure Childhood Cancer, and the Sickle Cell Foundation. Xtreme Talent School of Arts, Inc., has also played a significant role in empowering young artists to pursue their passions and make their dreams a reality. Through talent showcases and performances, this program highlights the creativity and determination of kids from diverse backgrounds, encouraging them to embrace their talents and pursue their aspirations. "Kids Got Talent" not only entertains but also raises awareness and vital funds for essential causes, ultimately contributing to a brighter future for the children involved. It stands as a testament to the power of art and community in inspiring change and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
This year's talent line up included children from all across the nation even from the other side of the globe who filled the Porter Sandford Theatre in Decatur, GA. Sky Coffee, executive producer (MTV), along with co-hosts Majesty & Victoria Henley (iHeart radio & America's Next Top Model) brought in a panel of celebrity judges Barbara Mckay (media Personality & author), Cappriccieo Scates (UN NGO Ambassador, Author, & Music Executive), Ian Burke (entertainment consultant, music supervisor, film & TV producer/manager), Chris Bivins (Paramount Pictures & BET Producer), and Regina Love (singer, actress & vocal coach). Children, in my eyes, are all winners in this type of friendly competition. However, competing prepares them to work harder toward their goals.
This talent show is an exciting platform for young performers aged 4 to 19, ranging from singers and dancers to musicians, actors, models, spoken word, and geniuses . This unique event not only allows these aspiring artists to showcase their talents but also connects them with major record labels, talent managers, choreographers, and television executives. It serves as a stepping stone into the entertainment industry while promoting a safe and educational environment for families. Participants can gain invaluable insights into the talent industry and establish meaningful connections with seasoned professionals. 1st Place winner (13-19) division was BK Truly, 1st Place winner (10-12 Division) was Jessica Wang, and 1st place winner (4-9 Division) was Anastasia Tkhelidze after a night of observations and entertainment. No child left empty handed because they are all champions gifted with a medal for their efforts. Be sure to check out https://www.kidsgottalent.org for your child's chance to compete!
