Cate Luzio, former financial executive, is the Founder and CEO of Luminary, a global professional education and networking platform dedicated to uplifting, upskilling, and propelling women and their allies forward in today's challenging business landscape. She explained her frustration with corporate which led her to build a space for herself and others like her. Surviving financially in today's societies is tough. It's probably the most difficult thing do as entrepreneurs considering prominent businesses that are at a thin line which is why professional networking is important.

November 12-13 Luzio checked into The Lola partnered with Verizon Small Business Digital Ready. Luminary brought together 2 days of workshops, panels, ideas connected entrepreneurs and leaders in a meaningful summit to remind all to push forward. Attendees were treated to a rich array of discussions led by industry experts, covering topics such as digital innovation, financial management, and strategic networking. I know because I was there! The summit started off with breakfast and networking followed by practical tools for business growth, SWOT analysis, brand development, lunch and networking, health topics, social media marketing, meaningful fireside chats, reception and networking. Networking, networking, networking, know the power of networking! This two-day event was a gathering that brought together entrepreneurs, leaders, and innovators, in an environment ready for collaboration and idea exchange. Through a series of thoughtfully crafted workshops and panels, the summit not only facilitated meaningful connections but also inspired attendees to persevere and propel in their entrepreneurial journeys.

Looking ahead, Luzio and Luminary remain committed to providing a space where entrepreneurship does not come at the cost of losing personal and professional well-being. As she put it, "Our goal is to ensure that every participant knows they belong, and that together, we can build a brighter, more equitable future for all." In summary, Luminary, marked a significant moment in advancing the conversation around women's empowerment and entrepreneurship. The business world is like a revolving door. The goal is to be able to enter again even after exiting.
