SHEEN'S MAGAZINE CELEBRATES 20 YEARS of Talent, Inspiration, and Achievement
Sheen’s Magazine marked a major milestone with its 20th Magazine Awards, celebrating two decades of recognizing talent, creativity, and achievement. Hosted by legendary comedian and actress Luenell Campbell and celebrated comedian and actor Lavell Crawford, the evening brought together celebrities, honorees, and supporters for a lively celebration of culture and accomplishment. Luenell and Lavelle broke out in song "That's What Friends Are For" encouraging positive relations in such a demanding brutal industry.
At the heart of Sheen’s story is founder and CEO Kimberly “Kim” Chapman, whose vision has helped shape the magazine and its awards into a platform for voices across generations. Chapman is recognized as an inspiration to both established and emerging talent, with Sheen’s reach spanning motivational speaking, music, beauty, entertainment, and politics. Her leadership reflects a commitment to celebrating people whose work, ideas, and influence make a difference in their communities and industries.
The event also featured Atlanta’s own Jasiel “Joc” Robinson as co-host, adding local flavor to a night filled with energy and memorable moments. Guests enjoyed an opening performance by breakout artist Shaun Milli, whose appearance offered an exciting glimpse of emerging talent.
Daetai Productions was honored to serve as media at the event, capturing and sharing the celebration with audiences beyond the room.
Reaching a 20-year milestone is more than an anniversary—it is a testament to consistency, vision, and the relationships built along the way. Sheen’s celebration honored the publication’s history while recognizing the people helping shape what comes next. Under Kimberly Chapman’s leadership, the awards continue to bring generations of talent together and spotlight achievement across a wide range of fields.
